3 routes to John Carl Guide Service

Route 1 - Bear Camp

Open spring, summer and fall. Closed during winter months. We highly recommend for you too call us or USFS prior to your travel for the latest updates on all routes.

Route 2 - Eden Valley

Not recommended - only to be used if Bear Camp is closed due to road conditions. Road occasionally has washouts and detours. Closed during winter months. We highly recommend for you too call us or USFS prior to your travel for the latest updates on all routes.

Route 3 - Coast

(preferred)


This is the only route that has a 2 lane road and is open year round. It is the safest route, especially during bad weather or winter conditions.
