The season is here - 43 pound Springer

"Salmon and Steelhead Fishing at its finest
on the Famous Rogue River"

December -March

Winter Steelhead - Average weight 8 to 12 pounds.

Steelhead are a hard fighting, acrobatic fish that can be caught in  a variety of ways, from rolling bait to back trolling plugs, or just sitting on anchor and waiting for them to come to you.

Fly fishing also works well when conditions permit.  A great fish for the novice to the expert alike.

March-June

Spring Chinook Salmon - Simply put these fish are the hardest fighting and best eating fish we have on the Rogue River.  These fish are caught by anchoring up and back bouncing bait on spinners to a desired length and then just waiting for the fish to strike.

Then hang on as we come off anchor and chase the fish down stream.

A truly exciting fishing experience!

Spring Chinook - 35 lbs.
Derek Carl - 45 lbs.

August-October

Fall Chinook Salmon - Bay trolling works well with these fish,  can also be caught in the upper river. Average weight 20 to 45 pounds.

Summer Steelhead - Hard fighters, acrobatic 10 to 20 inch.  These fish are commonly called half-pounders.  Caught in great numbers using light tackle, fly, or spinning rods.

Silver Salmon - Silvers range from 7 to 15 pounds.  Silvers usually arrive in September and are fished for in the bay or in the upper river using light tackle.
